Fun-Run-Walk: 2019

Ballina Lions Fun Run Walk – Lapping the Map for Diabetes Awareness

In sunny but windy weather the 14th Ballina Lions Fun Run Walk proved yet again to be a great day on Sunday 22 September at the Missingham Park Amphitheatre.

Congratulations to the winners and placegetters and thanks to everyone who participated in what ended up being a successful Fun Run Walk.  Special thanks go to Terry White Chemist, Judy Gatwood, Diabetes educator, Anytime Gymnasium and Aspire Health & Rehab for carrying out glucose and health checks.

Around $6,200 was raised which will benefit Heartfelt House, Biala Special School and the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation.

Special thanks go to our Major sponsors who gave so generously to make the event a financial success.
